The first meeting of North Carolina vergers to explore founding a VGEC chapter in the Diocese of North Carolina was held at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Burlington, NC on April 26, 2014. Seven vergers from across the diocese attended the meeting.

The Verger’s Guild of the Diocese of North Carolina held our second meeting on September 6th, 2014 at St. Phillip's Episcopal Church in Durham. Our Keynote Speaker was The Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple, Bishop Suffragan of the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina.
