 The Vergers' Guild of the Episcopal Church offers an optional comprehensive training course known as "A Course of Training for a Verger."
As a result of completing the course, successful candidates become known as a "Fellow of the Guild" receiving a, official Guild Verge and a certificate of completion of the course. These items are conveyed on the candidates at the annual Conference and Eucharist each year.
The first step in taking the course is to review complete information about our training here at the Guild web site.
Next, visit the Guild Shoppe Online Store Training Department to select which course registration is right for you. That will begin the process. The Training Registrar will contact you to get the process underway.
Approximately one hundred and fifty Vergers have completed the course and are now known as "Fellows of the Guild." Join this group of dedicated Vergers in the Guild today!
